A brilliant idea, a strong motivation, a united team.
What could be the fourth element capable of transforming an intention into a successful entrepreneurial reality? The comparison.
Before spreading its wings to take flight, every business project must be presented to an audience in order to receive opinions, suggestions and, why not, criticism.
On Wednesday 2 February Human Maple had the opportunity to participate in an event in which the so-called fourth element was the protagonist: the comparison between various young European companies.
The opportunity to train and make ourselves known within this European funds project, called “SEE ME GR&OW”, was provided by Bangherang, a non-profit association that promotes the professional development of participants through a cooperative and engaging methodology .
The event took place in Bologna where, for a week, entrepreneurs from various European countries had the opportunity to start a training course and learn about other interesting initiatives.
This meeting between emerging companies had as its main purpose the creation of an active interaction, through an exchange of questions and opinions at the end of the presentation of each participating company.
Human Maple has competed with various entities, including Ar.co Wood, a project that reuses wood to build sustainable structures, and Squiseat, a Bolognese startup against food waste.
Once the project was presented, the other entrepreneurial groups released a list of constructive criticisms, considerations and suggestions that gave our team the opportunity to grow professionally.
Thanks to this initiative, therefore, we have been able to identify our strengths and weaknesses with greater certainty.
“You have great energy”, “your commitment is clear and concrete”, “you are young people who strongly believe in your entrepreneurial plan”, “the environmental education you offer to the new generations is an important added value”: these are just some of the positive comments that thrilled us and encouraged us to give our best to carry our ideas forward.
Human Maple will continue to improve by participating more and more often in similar activities:
if we want to achieve a quality change, it is necessary to collaborate and establish relationships with those who, like us, are committed daily to affirming an ecological mentality.
Let's learn, let's improve, let's compare: only in this way can we build a better future.
BE MORE THAN A HUMAN BE A HUMAN MAPLE!
